Krishi Sangosthi inaugurated at ICAR-CIAE, Bhopal

BHOPAL:  Alok Sanjar, Member of Parliament, Bhopal inaugurated the One-day Interaction Meet with Farmers(Krishi Sanghoshti) at ICAR-Central Institute of Agricultural Engineering, Bhopal on Friday .

Speaking on the occasion,  Sanjar urged farmers to adopt modern agricultural machinery and new technologies for increasing agricultural production and reducing the production cost. He also advised them to go for processing and value addition for increasing their income.

Dr. KK Singh, Director, CIAE urged farmers to take services of CIAE Scientists and adopt modern agro-processing machinery.

Dr AK Patra, Director Indian Institute of Soil Science highlighted the recent soil health related technologies.

A.K Nema, Deputy Director Agriculture Bhopal and Officers from Horticulture, Veterinary and fisheries were also present. Technical sessions were also organized in which the Scientists answered the queries of the farmers and advised them for preparation of Kharif Season.

CIAE also organized the demonstration of sowing machinery for Kharif Season including, broad bed former cum seeder, inclined plate planter, vegetable transplanter, rotavator, cultivator with clod crusher, zero till drill, pneumatic planter.

The meet was organized jointly with MP Govt., Department of Agriculture, Bhopal on 12.06.2015 as part of the Krishi Mahotsav of the Govt of Madhya Pradesh during May 25 – June 15, 2015.

About 300 farmers from Berasia block participated in the meeting.
