Rajasthan to double Farmers income by 2022, says Singh

Jaipur: Union Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister, Radha Mohan Singh on Friday, while addressing  the closing ceremony of Global Rajasthan Agritech Conference here, said the farmer’s income would be doubled in Rajasthan by 2022.

Singh said a number of schemes have been initiated under the able guidance of Prime Minister.

Niti Aayog has given Rajasthan third place related to agriculture marketing and farmers oriented improvement index for the year 2016.

Singh also added that Rajasthan has been much ahead in the policy related decisions for last two years. Owing to this, this state would be successful to make the farmers income double by the year 2022.

“Global Rajasthan Agritech Conference” has got two prominent objectives. The first one is to pave the way of progress for technologies related to agriculture and to bring forth the best methodologies to Rajasthan. And the other one is to provide know-how to the farmer’s community about the technological advancements across the world.
