BKT displays advanced agricultural tire at Agrotech, Chandigarh

Chandigarh : Balkrishna Industries Limited (BKT), one of the leading off-highway and tractor tire manufacturers in India, made an impressive display at the 13th edition of Agrotech, a renowned biennial Agro Technology and Business Fair, that was held from December 1 to 4 at Parade Ground, Sector 17, Chandigarh. BKT was the key sponsor for the fair, and emerged as one of the most visited stalls by farmers as well as other Agricultural stakeholders.

BKT displayed its robust Agricultural portfolio consisting of 23 different tires that were impactfully laid out in a stall built over 282 square meters. The tires were suitable for Tractor Rear, Tractor Front, Tractor Trolley and various farm implements. The key highlights of the stall were the giant tires – IF900/ 60R42 Agrimax Force and 1050/ 50R32 Agrimax RT600 which pulled in large audiences and fetched a highly enthusiastic response. BKT was also adjudged as the second best stall in the fair and was felicitated by the Haryana Governor Satyadev Narayan Arya.

BKT also ensured strong engagement levels with audiences across age groups through various games and competitions including Karaoke. Visitors were encouraged to start conversations about BKT on social media through posing with the tires, which further bolstered awareness about the ongoing fair.

Agrotech, 2018 was inaugurated by Honorable President of India, Ramnath Kovind. The other dignatries who presided over the inauguration function included Haryana Chief Minister Manoharlal Khattar, Haryana Governor – Satyadev Narayan Arya, Union Minister for Food Processing Harsimrat Kaur Badal, Union Minister for Agriculture Radha Mohan Singh, and Governor of Chandigarh (Union Territory), V.P Singh Badnore along with a few giants from the industry. The theme for the current edition of the fair was ‘Technology in Agriculture: Increasing Farmer’s Income’. It witnessed participation from over 300 companies in the industry.
