Union Agriculture Minister Appreciated Rice Research Programme

HAZARIBAG:  Radha Mohan Singh, Union Minister of Agriculture visited Central Rainfed Upland Rice Research Station, Hazaribag on Monday. The Minister appreciated the activities and the work being done and their impact on improving rainfed rice cultivation in India. He emphasized on on-farm demonstrations to be taken up in the vicinity of the station beside other districts while co-opting state department officials and extension agencies Minister also released a Hindi booklet entitled “??????? ?? ?????????? ????????? ??? ????? ???? ???????” on this occasion.

Earlier, Dr S Ayyappan, Secretary (DARE) and Director General (ICAR) welcomed the Minister and Dr M Variar, OIC, CRURRS briefed about the activities of the station.
