India, Poland ink agreement on agriculture

Warsaw: India and Poland have signed a pact on the exchange of information and technology in the agriculture sector.

The agreement will strengthen the bilateral cooperation between these two countries and go a long way in expanding their trade relations.

The agreement was signed by Minister of State for Micro Small and Medium Enterprises Giriraj Singh from the Indian sideafter the formal talks between Polish Prime Minister Beata Szydlo and Indian Vice President Mohammad Hamid Ansari who is on a three-day state visit to Poland.

Ansari also called on the Polish President Andrzej Duda, who will make a state visit to India later this year.
