Haryana Has No Plans to Waive Farm Loans

Rohtak: Haryana Government has no plans to waive farm loans, the state BJP Chief Subhash Barala has said in response to agitations in the state organized by farmer outfits and opposition parties against the recent killing of five farmers in Mandsaur in Madhya Pradesh.

Apart from demanding loan waiver the farmers in Haryana are seeking early implementation of the recommendations of the M S Swaminathan commission.

Barala, who is a legislator from Tohana, said the government was working towards implementation of the Swaminathan commission report.

He accused the opposition parties of having no real issues and using the farmers’ agitation for political gains.
